In 2009, our congregation began making plans to move from Roebuck Parkway in east Birmingham to Deerfoot Parkway in Trussville.
Late that year we purchased six acres of land on Deerfoot Parkway near the Cahaba River. The land is at the corner of Deerfoot Parkway and Deerfoot Crossing Drive in Trussville.
In July 2016, a buyer purchased our building on Roebuck Parkway, affording us the resources we needed to begin the move and move forward with construction plans.
Until the new building is ready, our congregation will be worshipping in a building in nearby Clay formerly known as Springville Road Church of Christ (this congregation merged with our congregation earlier this year.)
Our last worship service at the Roebuck Parkway building will be held Sunday morning, August 28, 2016, at 10 a.m.
Our first worship service at the Springville Road location will be held Sunday evening, August 28, 2016, at 5 p.m.
